our purpose

The purpose of LIPs is to enhance collaboration, coordination, and strategic planning at the community level in order to foster more welcoming and inclusive communities and improve settlement and integration outcomes.

The Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and Katzie Local Immigration Partnership Council primary purpose is to provide guidance and support using their expertise, skills, and networks to aid in the development and implementation of the planned activities set out by IRCC.

We are now entering our third phase in the LIP funding that will take place from 2020 to 2025, and involves establishing a local settlement strategy by identifying key priorities for the community.
